About
Praying Hands
01.

Individual therapy is a collaborative process between patient and therapist. During this process, the therapist can treat specific issues, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, sexual integrity, past or current trauma, or everyday concerns. We provide a safe place to explore your life and discover the change you are seeking.

02.

Group Therapy will provide a supportive environment that allows moms to connect with other moms in a safe and reflective space. Group therapy addresses individuals experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety following childbirth, and being a new mother. Learning the importance of implementing self-care and other coping skills.

03.

Our approach is aimed at helping couples address the core problems unique to their relationship. We offer a comprehensive, collaborative approach that gets beneath the "presenting issues" of the relationship. We look at the roots of the problems and the opportunities for healing and transformation through greater understanding relational intimacy.

04.

For new parents, it can be upsetting and frightening to have feelings about parenthood that don't seem "right." For some, a morning run, a healthy diet and receiving help and support from family and friends are sufficient enough to get through the initial adjustment period. For others, talking to a therapist who specializes in dealing with new motherhood issues can be comforting, relieving, and enlightening.

  • Are you stuck in a sexless marriage?

  • Do you and your partner have mismatched sexual desires?

  • Do you not feel emotionally connected anymore?

  • Or maybe you want to spice up your love life, but your partner isn't interested.

  • If sexual issues are preventing true closeness between you and your partner, you may want to consider sex therapy.

As a sex therapist, I focus on the physical relationship between two people in a relationship, then identify the couple's attitudes about sex, and the sexual problem. From there, I'll often recommend specific exercises to refocus the couple's attention and expectations.

If you'd like to explore sex therapy, I want you to know that you are not alone in having sexual problems, and that I can help. Please contact me today to schedule an appointment.
